Specialist web developer joins Vehnet team
David Ingham, formerly an Infrastucture Architect and Developer with global pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca has joined Vehnet's development team.
David specialises in web based application development, and brings long experience and expert knowledge to support Vehnet in the development of a flexible, browser based new Visibility tool.
According to Group Managing Director of Vehnet, Steve Jones, although the new Visibility software is primarily aimed at the finished vehicle logistics industry, where Vehnet’s vehicle management systems are well known and widely used, the new tool will be developed to be easily adaptable for use in wider applications and other industries.
“David’s experience outside our industry, as well as his specific expertise in web based applications development, will be invaluable to us - not only in the delivery of our Visibility tool, but also in expanding our horizons and enabling us to consider a range of new browser based applications. As such, his appointment represents an important step in the evolution of our business.”
Commenting on his appointment, David added, “Although I have enjoyed being in a large company environment, I’m delighted to have the opportunity to get back into an active development role. I am looking forward to working in a small, highly specialised team and using the latest technology tools.”
