Vehnet flies high at Montreux
Software Freedom message well received
At this year's Automotive Logistics Europe conference, Vehnet attracted delegates' attention with eye catching promotional kites, bearing the message 'Software Freedom'. But behind the light-hearted gift was a serious message for delegates facing the challenges of current market conditions, says Group Managing Director Steve Jones.
"Robust, flexible systems can play a crucial part in optimising operational efficiency," he said. "We believe it is important for businesses to have the freedom to be able to adapt to meet changing needs in a depressed market, whilst preparing for the inevitable upturn, when it eventually arrives."
Vehnet's iTracks software is modular and therefore highly adaptable. Moreover, implementing the system does not require significant capital investment upfront, but instead customers pay a simple monthly bill, based on average unit volumes. This covers the software license and includes ongoing techical support for an unlimited amount of users and sites. Future upgrades are also provided to customers at no additional cost. All these elements, argues Steve Jones, add up to 'Software Freedom'.
Vehnet has produced a short Q&A leaflet outlining the benefits of their 'Software Freedom' package. Copies are available from Head Office. Tel: 01924 844444
